I’ve just realised there isn’t that much time before we launch this podcast series. When I initially started recording these episodes, I thought September 2022 was a long way off, but it’s not anymore!
It has occurred to me that the Selective High School test we all sat unintentionally selected for character traits possibly, as well as high levels of reading, writing and numerical literacy. I’m thinking it would interesting to research similarities amongst selective high school graduates, beyond scholastic abilities at age 11/12. My hypothesis is we’re a unique group with the volume ‘turned up’ on certain traits, compared to the general population….anyway link to long and short version videos and audios below (warning: the long version is unedited and has “extra” thoughts lol).
I’m really excited to edit over the next couple of months and start releasing the episodes. I’ve also come up with what I think is a marvellous idea haha that we record live episodes weekly or fortnightly once we finish releasing the pre-recorded episodes, for those who want to tell their stories after the official release date. I’d be happy to set aside a couple of hours to record every week with someone. This has been a really interesting project and I hope it continues in some fashion.
